Hello, I'm Don Rife, owner of Happy Valley Printing & Design. A full service Print shop, Designer & Engineer locate in Happy Valley, Oregon. I specialize in consulting (marketing advertising & business start ups). As a Designer I work in brand identities, user interfaces, packaging, websites, motion graphics, video & audio production, and everything in-between. All to help make the brands I work with successful.
My goal is to make each client a lifelong client. How? By going above and beyond what's expected & helping to make every job as successful as possible. I have acquired a unique skillset, growing up in the print & music industry, I have seen thousand of successful and not so successful jobs for every business imaginable. I have also run numerous successful businesses and start ups over the past 25+ years. From Touring musician to Recording engineer, to Restaurant / concert venue owner to Record label owner to Print shop & design studio owner. I have worked in many many different industries. The concert venue allowed me to work each event as a promoter and coordinator. This gave me experience in promoting essentially a different product each night. Over 500+ events a year between the two venue spaces. I am grateful for all of the knowledge I obtained over the 15 years I owned the venue. I was fortunate to sell before covid hit.
Since 2018 I have primarily focused on my print shop & freelance design work. I've worked for a wide variety of clients and, most importantly, I continue to learn every day how to solve new challenges.
